Our work on water

The water sector in Scotland has a history of constructive engagement to advance consumers’ needs and aspirations, including the innovative role of the Customer Forum for Water in developing Scottish Water’s long-term Strategic Plan.

Consumer Scotland works to embed positive consumer outcomes and engagement with consumers across all aspects of service delivery in the water industry, including in the non-household market. This includes affordability of services, how water and wastewater services can contribute to a transition to net zero and how services should be adapted to mitigate the impacts of climate change.
