Our investigations

Consumer Scotland undertakes investigations into sectors or practices it considers cause, or may cause, harm to consumers, or in relation to our role of providing consumer advocacy and advice. We also use our investigations to examine opportunities for consumers in particular markets.

Our findings will equip us to advocate for solutions to minimise detriment and improve outcomes for consumers and small businesses. Our investigations include working closely with enforcement partners and other key organisations to enhance fair outcomes for consumers.
